366 Days with a Pure Positive Mindset

day 146: is it easy to trust others

Nowadays not really. I mean, I always convince myself that life is short and that you shouldn’t worry about anything and always trust people, but for as long as I live, the pain of someone just using your trust against you will forever burn my heart.

day 147: is there someone that makes you happy everytime you see them

Of course! A lot of people actually.

day 148: what do you think about ignorant people

They’re closed-minded. I feel like they will only think one way and that that way is always right, which it isn’t. Sometimes I just want to fucking punch them in the face, but I have to keep my composure and let things go.

Ignorant people suck.

day 149: do you think more about the past, present, or future

I use to think a lot about the past. I use to think about why this happened and why can’t it be like this and why thinks happened the way it did. Now, I just focus on the present. I focus on the “now” instead of the “then” and the “later”. I live for the moment. Whatever happens, happens. Let the good times flow and live for the show.

day 135: do you have a reason to smile right now

Of course! I mean, I don’t have a reason to be sad, nor should I be mad at anything at this point. I have a home, have great loving parents, we can pay our bills, i’m in school, plus I have a bunch of friends that care for me a lot. So yeah, definitely.

day 136: is change a good thing

I think it is. I believe it’s necessary for people to change. I mean, change happens whether you like it or not regardless of the situation. People change in ways you would never have guessed and well, let’s just say that without change, we wouldn’t be able to grow and learn from our mistakes.

day 137: if you were 12 and looked at yourself in the future, would you be happy

For the most part, yeah. I mean there are some parts of my life where I didn’t make the smartest decisions, nor did I have my priorities in order then, but I’m pretty happy with most of my life.

day 138: one of your wildest dreams

I can’t think of any really. I mean I’m guessing one of them would be like…taking a trip to Japan and living there for a couple of months, drifting and competing in D1 but I don’t know if that counts.

day 139: one of the nicest things anyone has said to you

I honestly can’t recall. “You’re sweet” and “I like your hair” and “You’re funny” and shit like that are pretty common. The “Any girl would be lucky to have you” is one too but I can’t remember a genuinely nice comment that I’ve gotten recently. I just can’t remember.

day 140: something you can’t wait for

Graduating High School, moving to California, buying a new car, making money so I can pay my mom back etc.

day 141: how do you feel about people disrespecting their parents

I feel like it’s sort of…stupid I guess. Everyone has their own situations which I can understand, but when you disrespect your parents for no reason, it makes you seem like a brat. Always respect, cherish and love your parents, because you don’t know what will happen to them the next day. Be grateful to have your parents, because other kids aren’t as lucky.

day 142: someone who fascinates you

I don’t know actually. I haven’t met people that have truly fascinated me. There’s probably a lot of people that I’ve met on Tumblr that fascinated me though.

day 143: how have you changed in the past 2 years

Can’t really explain or list anything. I mean, I’ve gotten more mature, made smarter choices, realize the traits of true friends, became happier and became more grateful about the little things in life. That’s it really.

day 144: how important you think education is

It’s very important, well to me at least. Education is important, mainly because there’s a lot of ways you can look at it. It can be the key to getting out the house. It can be the key for you to make a shit ton of money. It can be anything. How I look on education is that not only are you learning about the subjects that are being taught, but the perspective and people that are teaching it. You learn everyday, and education doesn’t always have to be just restricted by school.

day 145: are you planning on having children one day

Yeah, definitely. Two children at the most.

day 130: favorite month of the year and why

July, because it’s my birthday. LOL.

day 131: if you were deserted on an island, what would you bring

A lot of food, and a couple of friends and family.

day 132: what do you worry about

Honestly, I don’t worry about much. I worry about my mom because of her health at times. That’s the only thing I worry about.

day 133: do you believe ex’s can be friends

Yeah I do. It’s not an easy thing, but they can be friends. Sooner or later though, they’ll fall for each other again for the same thing.

day 134: if you had to choose between a million dollars or to be able to change a regret, what would you do

Honestly, a million dollars, probably because I don’t have any regrets.

day 129: what is your life’s purpose

To be as positive as I can. I love making people smile. Just seeing people smile brings so much joy to my day. Whenever someone is having a bad day, I can’t help but to cheer them up, say some corny things and make them laugh. I just love spreading positive and good vibes around, and knowing that I atleast made someone laugh or made someone’s day is all I really want out of life really.

day 128: do you believe in second chances

Yes I do. I believe that you can give a person a second chance. To be honest, a second chance is all someone really needs. it’s not only another chance of a friendship or a relationship, but it’s also a chance to prove what they’re worth and to prove that they’ve learned whatever lesson they learned.

However, I don’t believe in 3rd, 4th, or 5th chances though. You have only one chance to prove to me that you’re worthy of your word. After that, YOUR DONE SON.

day 121: what is your zodiac sign and what do you think it means

I’m a cancer, and honestly, I don’t know. I’ve never been too big about zodiac signs.

day 122: what do you think about stereotypes

At first, I thought it was really ignorant, both the stereotypes and the people who used them. I use to get picked on a lot in middle school, with stereotypes surrounding me. Now, I just don’t care. My brother opened my eyes about this, and well, stereotypes are true…or at least some are. If they weren’t, then they wouldn’t have been called “stereotypes” in the first place, or been made stereotypes.

day 123: which activities make you lose track of time

Tumblr.

day 124: do you believe teenagers can fall in love

I believe anyone can. I mean, if you spend enough time with someone, getting to know the real person that they are, knowing their flaws and imperfections and everything in between, anyone can fall in love. It’s out of everyone’s hands. Who you choose to fall in love with is out of your control.

day 125: have you ever had feelings for someone who was seeing someone else

Of course. It was a really hard thing to do. Here you are, talking to that person and having this great connection and you’re falling for them every little second but you have to hold back a lot, because they’re seeing someone else. it happens. Not the best experience.

day 126: have you ever gone out of your way to make someone happy

In a way, yes. Don’t remember the last time I’ve done that but I remember I use to try to make people happy first before I would ever worry about my own happiness. Now I know that balance is key. You have to worry about yourself in order for other people to be happy. Your decisions aren’t all about you; it’s about the other people around you too.

day 127: have you ever been betrayed by someone you trusted

Yes. Several times.

day 120: something you hope you never have to do

Bury my mom when she passes away.

day 115: do you like when people are protective over you

To a certain extent yeah. I don’t like it when they’re OVER protective, but to an extent I feel like it’s okay to be protective.

day 116: is it possible to be single and happy

Yes, and I’m proof of it. I’ve never had a girlfriend, and for pretty much most of my Freshmen-Junior year, I’ve been pretty sad because of that. I don’t really care now. I’m single, I’m happy, I’m living, and I’m enjoying the little things in life. It’s true what they say. When you stop being single and start being committed to a relationship, you’re going to miss the single life. I know because well…I’ve experienced it sort of. Being single isn’t that bad at all. You just have to focus on other things rather than relationships, because let’s face it; there are a lot of things in life that are more important than relationships, like food.

day 117: one guy who means a lot to you

Ryan. No need to explain if you know me well enough.

day 118: if you were to get a tattoo, what would it look like

I actually want to get a tattoo of the symbol of turning negativity into positivity (forgot what it was called). I also want one that says “Fulfillment” on my arm. I haven’t put a lot of thought into this, obviously.

day 119: what people in your life inspire you the most

I think my mom has been the best inspiration to me so far. She pushes me to do better and helps me stay motivated when it comes to school. She tells me to do better because she wants the best out of me. She taught me everything that I had to know about life and what it stood for even if she didn’t mean to. I love my mom, and she inspired me the most.

day 114: do you believe that if you want something enough you’ll get it

If you work hard enough for it, yeah. I mean, I always believed that the things that are worth having don’t come easy. If you work hard enough to get what you want, be who you want to be or anything else in those lines, you’ll get it, sooner or later.

day 111: something that makes you happy

Cars, music, food, driving, porn, good vibes, positivity, fluffy animals, dogs, tinychats, drifting, racing, corny messages, talking to someone you haven’t talk to for a long time, uhhh…i don’t know. Coffee.

day 112: do you wish upon 11:11 even if it may not come true

I’m not going to lie, I use to. I don’t anymore because I always miss it, and I’m sleeping so.

day 113: what is the most important part in a relationship, do you think

Trust and communication. Without any of those, a relationship wouldn’t even be a relationship. Without trust, you wouldn’t be able to trust your partner with anything they do. Without communication, you wouldn’t be able to talk through the problems with your partner.
